Addictions Worker
Paul Millage
Confidential, one-to-one support for people working through alcohol and drug problems — and for the family members who love them.
Straightforward, private, and without judgment. We start by meeting face to face on Google Meet, so you can decide for yourself whether this is the right fit before anything else.

How it works
No forms to fill in first, and no commitment before you’ve met Paul. Here’s the shape of it.
-
Step 1
We meet face to face first
The first meeting is a one on one via Google Meet (completely set up by me.....don’t worry). A chance to talk plainly about what’s going on and what kind of support would actually help.
-
Step 2
Ongoing sessions on Google Meet
After that, sessions continue online via Google Meet. A link is sent before each session, so you can meet from home, at a time that fits your week.
-
Step 3
Together when it’s needed
Some moments are better handled sitting down together. Personal, face-to-face meetings are always available when needed — just say so.
How I can help
Support that stays practical and honest — focused on where you are now, and on the next step, not on labels or lectures.
Making sense of where you stand
An honest look at what alcohol or drugs are doing in your life, and what changing it would take — without pressure or judgment.
Early recovery support
Steady support in the first weeks and months, when new routines are fragile and old patterns are close at hand.
Relapse prevention
Spotting the triggers and situations that put you at risk, and building ways through them before they arrive.
A plan you can actually follow
Small, realistic steps that fit your life as it is — work, family, and everything else included.
Support for spouses and family
For the people living alongside addiction: a place to talk, to understand what helps, and to look after yourselves too.
Someone in your corner
Regular check-ins with someone who knows your story, notices when things slip, and keeps the conversation going.

What to say
Anything that feels true is enough. For example: “I’d like to talk about getting some support.”
If you’re calling for someone else, that’s welcome too — family members often make the first contact.
